Plannr and Transact team up to ‘supercharge’ efficiency of advisers

Software provider Plannr Technologies and investment platform Transact have announced a new integration.

The integration aims to reduce the time taken to reconcile income statements for financial planning practices in the UK.

This strategic partnership is designed to “supercharge the efficiency” of financial advisers.

When using the enhanced Transact API, income statements no longer need to be sourced through EDI or manually uploaded as CSVs.

They can, instead, be taken directly into Plannr’s Income Reconciliation Engine.

This reduces the time it takes to process statements and reduces the chance of errors through the manipulation of spreadsheets.

The integration is available immediately to all existing and new subscribers.

Plannr director Gareth Thompson said the collaboration “aligns perfectly” with the firm’s mission to provide advisers with “cutting-edge tools” that enhance their productivity and improve client relationships.

“By leveraging Transact’s enhanced API alongside our comprehensive Income Reconciliation Engine, we are setting a new standard for income statements in financial services in the UK,” he said.

Transact chief executive Jonathan Gunby said: “We are delighted that advisers using Plannr and Transact can now benefit from this slick and secure process that eliminates manual and time-consuming work.

“It has been a pleasure working with Plannr on this integration and we look forward to building further integrations in the future.”

In March, Plannr officially launched its customer relationship management (CRM) tools to the intermediary market.

The business had been building, developing, and improving the CRM in conjunction with a cohort of 70 advisers over the previous 12 months.

Plannr now has nearly £7bn in AUM on its system, with around 500 users and around 120,000 active plans, and it said this is growing weekly.

The business has 50 active integrations with providers and third parties, with 25 more in progress.

Included in these are six integrations that provide AI tools and another four AI integrations in progress.
