Tech firm Plannr launches CRM for advisers

Fintech firm Plannr Technologies has officially launched its customer relationship management (CRM) tools to the intermediary market.

Plannr said the market for adviser CRM has been heavily dominated by Intelliflo, Iress, and Time4Advice for the past 20 years and that it wants to “shake up the market”.

Additionally, Plannr feels users of Intelliflo, Iress, and Time4Advice have grown more rapidly due to the “absence of genuine competition”.

Plannr has been building, developing, and improving the CRM in conjunction with a cohort of 70 advisers over the past 12 months.

So far, the fintech firm has released 100 updates per month on average during its year-long testing.

It’s currently integrated with Transact, Seccl, Fidelity, Nucleus and is expected to span 30 companies by the second half of 2024.

Plannr will cost advisers £140 a month to use.

Plannr CEO Gareth Thompson said: “We are absolutely thrilled to launch Plannr to the advisory market. We understand that this is a highly competitive market, but hope to do something very different through the benefit of a fresh perspective.

“Today we are delighted to announce that our waiting list is now live and we encourage advisers who are looking for a new innovative solution to come and take a look.

“Plannr is built on state-of-the-art technology by highly-skilled developers, honing the system daily in conjunction with our community of clients. We are technology and workflow experts who help advisers work smarter through a truly mobile solution, automation engines and customisable interfaces.

“Plannr is a collaboration of smart advisers and bright developers, building what the market needs; a product for the profession, built by the profession.”

“I think this is a reflection of our times. Previously, you built technology in a vacuum and employed loads of salespeople to sell what you had built. Today, modern technology is designed and built simultaneously, with a constant feedback loop and short sprint cycles of improvements.

“Technology should be a living, breathing collaboration between users and creators.

“We believe that modern financial planners need a modern solution that is flexible enough to be constantly improved and iterated daily.

“CRM is the most important tool in modern businesses; used effectively it should save time and put live data in the hands of the user.”

Plannr formally launched a debut version of its back office solution Plannr CRM in May 2022.

In June last year, fintech and support services provider Fintel announced it had taken a 25% stake in Plannr.

There is one comment at the moment, we would love to hear your opinion too.

  1. Apart from the recent obsession with omitting vowels..

What about actually speaking to people and companies..?

Right now, it is SOOO difficult to speak to a human being with a query in almost every part of product/service life – especially one you can understand, and they understand what you want – a call to invite in for a go through… is welcomed.

The rash of bank adverts showing likeable buffoons with (potential) clients is misleading… why not show a silent 40 minute+ advert to a call centre??!!
